The Reveal and Our Wedding Party

These photos don't need too much introduction, so we'll get right to it :) This was right before our ceremony when Tim and I decided we'd see each other for the first time all dressed up for our wedding. The book that is in a few photos is a journal I began writing just over a year before our wedding. At that point I knew Tim was who I was going to marry, so I began writing letters to him in a book, all the while keeping it a secret. It's a collection of stories, prayers, things I'm grateful for about him, and little trinkets from the previous year. I gifted the journal to him on our wedding day (and asked Adam to take photos, of course!) These images remind me in many ways of how blessed I am to be married to Tim, and also how blessed we were on our wedding day to be surrounded by so many friends!

I even bought socks for Tim so they'd match my shoes :)

The morning of our wedding

In the morning before our wedding, Tim and I had breakfast with our friends who'd traveled from out of town before we separated to get ready for our big day. We got the idea from Kevin and Sarah whose wedding we shot in July. We thought it was so special that they took a little time in their morning to spend time with a few friends who were important to them, and we wanted to incorporate that into our day as well.
The girls and I got ready at our church while the boys got ready a few miles down the road at the gym, where Brinda and Nicky Teeter so graciously let all our friends stay for the weekend.
The night before the wedding, while we were coordinating rides to and from our wedding venue, and trying to figure how Tim and I would both arrive without seeing each other before we wanted to, we realized we didn't have enough vehicles to go around. Tim and I, along with Adam, our photographer, quickly used our problem-solving skills and decided that the three of us would ride to Morrow Mountian together - just that Tim would be blindfolded :) It seemed to be a ridiculous idea, but ended up being so fun. You'll see that the groomsmen and I had fun teasing Tim while blindfolding him...

Come back soon for more wedding day photos!

Reading a note that my amazing husband-to-be wrote me that morning :) Oh how I love him.
